My
Vision I
feel that while I embrace technology wholly, it is the person that makes
the image not the technology. One must have the vision to see a photograph
before it can be captured digitally or on film. Having
a vision also applies to capturing people's emotions on film. I believe
my best images of people was a result of my inner vision. Knowing exactly
when to press the shutter release can never be taught: It is only felt.
Many have heard the old adage "a photograph is worth a thousand words".
I strive to make my photography worth that much. There
are a lot of great photographers whom I admire. I hope to be as good as
they are one of these days. You can see from my website that I don't specialize
in one area of photography like most. One reason I enjoy photography so
much is that there are so many different types of it. Shooting motorcycles
racing by at 150mph+ is much different than shooting a wedding, but both
can be challenging and fun. I feel that I grow as a photographer when
I try new things, and thus learning how to capture images in new and different
ways makes me a better photographer. My
Tools I utilize Adobe Photoshop and a Mac G4 to help me store and prepare my images. Based upon my customers' needs, I will either shoot 35mm (film or digital), or medium format.
My Guarantee of Quality All images are printed on the highest quality photographic paper available. This is evident in there rich and true colors. This paper is also archival, designed to last a lifetime without fading or losing color. All matting and backing materials used are also of the highest archival quality, designed to protect your prints. Please remember to take proper care of your photographs. Direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity can damage your prints. Favorite
